Anyka is a fabless design house founded in Silicon Valley and rooted in mainland China. It is one of the pioneers in mobile multimedia application area and one of the major providers of multimedia application processors.

Anyka is mainly engaged in designing, marketing and sales of VLSI for mobile end products and provides customers with open development platforms and reference designs for mobile multimedia handheld devices based on its own processors as well.

It has rolled out products including 32-bit RISC mobile multimedia application processor AK32XX series for mobile phones, PDAs as well as all kinds of audio/ video players, and MIDI/ MP3 decoding chip A26, and yielded abundant fruit regarding video codec based on MPEG4, H.263 and H.264, algorithm research of multi-format audio, 2D/3D graphics acceleration, 3D surround sound, high-definition AD/ DA, and etc.. More than that, multimedia mobile phone development platforms and DMP/ PMP development platforms based on mobile multimedia AP AK32XXM, mobile multimedia phone reference designs with video and audio functions, DMP/PMP reference designs supporting various audio formats with camera of up to 4M pixels, and video phone/ wireless surveillance reference designs of H.263/ MPEG 4 video formats are available for customers of different demands. 

Anyka has been continuously making breakthroughs grounded on its own significant R&D capability. Currently, it is in possession of many patents concerning research and realization of mobile multimedia coding/ decoding algorithms and protocols, listed ahead of most similar domestic enterprises in the quantity of pending patents. AK3210M, independently developed by Anyka, won second prize in the Incubated Innovation Competition of National Integrated Circuit Design Industrial Base and Hong Kong Science & Technology Park.

The company obtained the certificates of Guangdong Software Enterprise and Guangzhou Integrated Circuit Enterprise in succession. And in August 2006, it passed ISO 9001:2000 audit.

Anyka’s mobile multimedia application processors are supposed to post as the key technology and solutions with proprietary rights for mobile multimedia application.
